LARIMER COUNTY, COLORADO CLERK OF COURT OFFICE

All traffic court and misdemeanor matters in the state of Colorado fall under the jurisdiction of the County Court. Each of the court offices is under the supervision of a Deputy District Attorney. Two Deputy District Attorneys are charged with prosecuting cases in the Longmont courts.

The County Clerk is a Constitutional Officer elected to a four-year term. The clerk is usually the primary administrative officer in most counties by law and tradition.
