RECORDS SEARCH AND PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST

The state of Kentucky provides a free database to search judicial court records. Records from all counties can be accessed. The name on the record or the case number is needed to make a search.

To inspect or receive copies of public records, a written request must be submitted to the county record custodian A record request form is available for download on the Owen County website.. A detailed description of the record being requested and the requester’s contact information is needed when making the request. Once the request is completed, it can be submitted in person, by mail, or fax. Applicants for the inspection of public records shall be advised of the availability of the records requested for inspection and shall be notified in writing not later than three (3) working days after receipt of an application for inspection of any reason the records requested are not available for public inspection.
