In 1985, Mary Ann Shortall was named Talbot County’s Circuit Court Clerk. In November 1986, she was re-elected to a four-year term. Since 1986, Ms. Shortall has been re-elected every four years. She has worked various jobs at the Clerk’s office for 30 years.
